Meet our Farmers
Tom Vincent is the owner/operator of Bunker Hill Farms, Inc., a 1,400-acre row crop operation. Vincent spent 22 years in the ag lending and management business before returning to his farming roots. In addition to farming full time, he is also an associate with the Russell Consulting Group where he works with agricultural producers on financial analysis, benchmarking and commodity marketing.
Kellie Blair currently farms corn, soybeans, pigs and cattle with her husband, AJ, and two children in north central Iowa near Dayton. She graduated from Iowa State University in forestry and agronomy. She currently serves as a watershed Coordinator in the Boone River Watershed in north central Iowa. Her duties include assisting in the coordination and facilitation of stakeholders on watershed activities as part of the Water Quality Initiative. Blair also is an advocate for agriculture through blogging, social media, and other volunteer activities.
Ethon Smith is a young farmer from Thurman, grows corn and soybeans in southwest. He most recently had the opportunity to participate in the 2015 Dupont Pioneer Young Leader Program. The DuPont Young Leader program is a challenging and educational training program that focuses on leadership and communication, agricultural information and the development of a strong peer network.
