Soy Squad

Soy Squad is a unique opportunity for collegiate students looking to gain insight into associations, specifically the Iowa Soybean Association (ISA). The Soy Squad meets four to five times a year with the topics of discussion including, but not limited to: ISA overview, research, demand, policy, education, and personal/professional development.

Requirements:

  • Have the ability to attend all regular scheduled meetings.
  • Must be attending a two or four year college/university in the state of Iowa.
  • Pursuing a major in an agriculture/agriculture related field.

Schedule

The Soy Squad will plan to meet on the following dates.

     Session 1:      Nov. 11th
     Session 2:      January 25th and 26th
     Session 3:      Early March (A date will be agreed upon at the first meeting)
     Session 4:      August (Iowa State Fair)

Members of the Soy Squad will have unique opportunities to network with farmer leaders and industry professionals, gain insights and knowledge of the soybean industry, and grow personally and professionally.

Cost
ISA will cover all lodging and meal expenses.
