Farmers invited to attend ISA, Cargill Roundtable

February 15, 2024 | Kriss Nelson

Farmers are invited to join the Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) and Cargill to discuss opportunities and challenges impacting the soybean industry in 2024.

An ISA-Cargill Farmer Roundtable will be held March 5 at the Lizard Creek Ranch and Event Center near Fort Dodge. The event kicks off at 8 a.m. with registration and refreshments.

Discussions on biofuels and carbon markets, soybean quality, pricing and more will be given by ISA and Cargill representatives beginning at 9 a.m. through 1:15 p.m. including lunch.

This is the third year ISA and Cargill have brought the event to Iowa farmers.

“This is a great opportunity for Iowa soybean farmers to get together with ISA and Cargill leadership and hear what is on each other’s minds,” says Gary Kay, director of government relations for Cargill. “We want to hear from farmers how we are performing. It is important to hear from them what is top of mind, what questions they are asking and how we can provide support for them.”

RSVP here by Feb. 20. For more information, contact ISA Producer Services Coordinator Paige Whitney at pwhitney@iasoybeans.com.
