Trial: Weed Dynamics in Cover Crops Plant3D

Implemented well, cover crops contribute to a weed management program. This project seeks to use computer vision to measure weed pressure and diversity under cover crop systems for soybean compared to no cover crop.

Camera system is mounted to the spray boom and collects data automatically as the farmer terminates their cover crop. Seeding cereal rye in the fall is required for this project. Farmer payment to help seed cost and farmer participation.

This trial will be implemented in the fall.
