Trial: Nitrogen Management With Biologicals

For this project, we are partnering with Pivot Bio to evaluate how their new product PROVEN G3 performs when applied to corn seed and planted into different rates of fall applied anhydrous ammonia. This product contains three microbes to help enhance nitrogen fixation, optimize nutrient uptake and increase nitrogen use efficiency.

This trial will be implemented in the fall.

I'm Interested In This Trial

Farmer Will Receive

• Product for trial area: Pivot Bio PROVEN G3
• $500 payment
• Farmer report comparing different nitrogen rates with and without PROVEN G3

Farmer Eligibility and Responsibility

A field that will be in corn production Ability to variable rate fall anhydrous ammonia application and flat rate all other nutrients Willing to dedicate 20-30 acres to this trial Ability to supply seed for overtreatment of product Combine equipped with a calibrated yield monitor Provide field management data and as-applied maps from nitrogen application, planting and harvest
