ISA Demand and Engagement Committees

What crops and livestock do you have on your farm?

We raise corn, soybeans, hay, small grains, cattle, and a couple of large puppies!

What makes your farm unique?

We are a fifth-generation family farm, welcoming our sixth-generation daughter into the operation. Currently cultivating the future!

How do you define success on the farm?

Mountains can be climbed when we take all the right little steps.

How do you envision production agriculture 50 years from now?

We see production agriculture consolidating more and more with the heavy implementation of technology.

What do you see as the largest hurdle for homegrown soybeans in the future? Largest opportunity?

The largest hurdle and the largest opportunity are probably one of the same. It could be due to production costs, market development, or a new technology that we haven’t considered yet.

What’s one thing people don’t know about you?

I love the opportunity to learn, which is why I welcomed the chance to serve on the ISA board.
