Help make the Iowa State Fair unforgettable

July 1, 2025 | Lydia Zerby

The Iowa Food & Family Project will be back in the South Atrium of the Varied Industries Building during the 2025 Iowa State Fair, taking place August 7–17.

This year’s display will include digital technology components and allow fairgoers to interact with farming and agriculture in a fun and exciting way. This will surely be a “must-see” Fair exhibit! Visitors will also be invited to test their ag knowledge with a spin wheel game, pick up a popular Iowa FFP tote bag and picture themselves on the farm with a fun photo booth.

We began recruiting around 350 Iowa State Fair volunteers last week. These individuals play an important role in creating a welcoming, fun and informative experience for the anticipated 50,000 fairgoers who will visit the exhibit. As a soybean farmer and advocate for agriculture, we’d love to have you volunteer with us!

Thanks in advance for making this our most successful state fair to date and helping the 98 percent of Iowans who don’t farm grow relationships with those who do!
