Want to learn more about how your soy checkoff dollars work? Looking to connect with other farmers or get a behind-the-scenes look at Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) program areas?
If so, the ISA Experience Class is for you.
The 2025 ISA Experience Class will meet from July 28-30, heading to eastern Iowa, where participants will tour and engage in conversations about the soybean industry, see their checkoff dollars in action and develop insights into soybean research, new uses, transportation, communications, policy and more.
Applications are due by Wednesday, June 25. For more information and to sign up, click here or on the button below.

“We aim to show farmers how their checkoff dollars impact various aspects of the industry in Iowa, and how our partners also support the work they do on their farms and within the association,” says Kennady Henry, ISA producer services coordinator.
Inside ISA and the soybean industry
The three-day event begins with introductions and an overview of ISA.
Participants will then hear about the American Soybean Association (ASA) and the United Soybean Board (USB).
Conversations with ISA media partners and an agriculture industry tour will round out the day, followed by dinner and a social event.
On July 29, the group will head to the field to visit farms participating in ISA’s Research Center for Farming Innovation trials. Another industry tour is scheduled for the afternoon, with dinner and a social event to follow in Davenport.
The final day, July 30, includes a lock and dam tour on the Mississippi River in Davenport and a wrap-up session to close out the experience.
Iowa farmers welcome
The ISA Experience Class can be a great starting point for ISA members to get involved with the association, Henry says.
“This is a first touchpoint for our members to become more involved with the Iowa Soybean Association,” she says. “We work to get them familiar with our association and invite them to become more involved in our programming.”
