Robb Ewoldt

District 6 Director

Robb Ewoldt farms near Davenport in Scott County, Iowa, and serves as district 6 director for the Iowa Soybean Association (ISA).

A long-time advocate for his profession, Ewoldt takes pride in caring for the land and water. The family’s operation has evolved to include no-till and strip-till, planting cover crops, reduce the use of crop protection products and implement innovative conservation practices, including installation of the first bioreactor (underground water filtration system) in eastern Iowa.

Ewoldt is a strong promoter of Iowa and U.S. soybeans, participating in trade delegations and speaking at forums and producer workshops. He and his wife, Jennifer, have been recognized for their commitment to conservation and agricultural advocacy. They are recipients of the Wergin Good Farm Neighbor Award, River Action’s Eddy Award and Iowa Farm Environmental Leader Award.

In January, the Ewoldts were presented the ISA Advocate for Agriculture Award for their tireless efforts to share agriculture’s story. Robb has facilitated numerous interviews for local, national and international newspapers and TV and radio broadcasters and frequently welcomes guests to their farm. This includes the Ewoldt’s Open Farm Day. The annual event offers the public an opportunity to see farm equipment up close and talk about farming.
