Chuck White
District 1 Director
Chuck White farms near Spencer in Clay County, Iowa and serves as a District 1 director for the Iowa Soybean Association (ISA). He farms soybeans and corn with his brother and son.
Farming for 40 years while managing his own operation for 20, White utilizes precision planting, yield data, grid sampling and variable-rate inputs. He has also strip-tilled corn and no-tilled soybeans for the last 18 years. An avid promoter of soil health, White also uses cover crops and on-farm research trials to balance productivity and sustainability.
Honored to serve on the ISA board, White is particularly fond of overseas learning opportunities. He has travelled to Europe and China and seen firsthand how U.S. soy is used in other countries. Along with global exports, White works to expand other use uses for soybeans by serving on the Soybean Acquaculture Alliance.
White is also involved in his local community, serving as a past president of the Hy-Noon Kiwanis, being involved in his local Knights of Columbus chapter and being a mentor for students at Spencer Middle School.
