Tim Bardole

At-Large Director

Tim Bardole farms near Rippey, Iowa and serves an At-Large Director for the Iowa Soybean Association (ISA). He grows soybeans, corn and raises hogs with father, brother and son.

Farming for 30 years, Bardole prides himself on soil health initiatives he’s implemented that help contribute to high yields. He no-tills soybeans and strip-tills corn, grows cover crops and split-applies nitrogen. He also manages waterways on his land.

Throughout his leadership at ISA, Bardole has traveled to several countries representing U.S. soy. Bardole is proud of the positive reputation Iowa farmers have throughout the world in growing healthy and sustainable foods.

In addition to promoting soil and water health, Bardole feels passionate about the next generation of farmers and supports efforts to make it both profitable and feasible for young producers to get started.
