Ashlyn Rairdin, PhD

Research Scientist


Ashlyn is a Research Scientist with the Analytics and Insights team at the Research Center for Farming Innovation. She works with research, conservation and analytics teams to analyze data, develop reports and generate insights from ISA research projects. Her responsibilities include supporting project development, contributing scientific expertise to research proposals, assisting with project management and helping expand the analytical capabilities of the Analytics and Insights team.

Ashlyn grew up in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln before completing her Ph.D. in Plant Breeding at Iowa State University. Her background combines plant breeding, data analytics and applied agricultural research, with a focus on using data-driven approaches to support farmer-focused innovation.
