Cover crop tour showcases conservation efforts and growing methods

Travelers throughout Sac, Calhoun and Carroll counties now have an opportunity to participate in a first-of-its-kind, self-guided cover crop tour. The partnership between the Iowa Soybean Association, Iowa DNR, Farm to River Partnership Project and the Blackhawk Lake Watershed Project, aims to showcase the important conservation efforts farmers in these areas are employing to improve soil health, conserve water and decrease erosion.
