Highlighting conservation advantages will be a part of a farmer's field day hosted by the Dubuque County Watersheds.

The field day is scheduled for Friday, June 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Behnke Farm, 18068 Boy Scout Road, Durango.

“Attendees can expect to learn about climate smart cropping and how to increase your ROI from regenerative practices,” says Scott Hendricks, Dubuque County conservation agronomist.

The field day will also include using a drone for planting cover crops and spraying.

The speakers' lineup includes Evan Brehm, Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) conservation agronomist. He will explain what a Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) is and talk about his experience within the program.
