Jonathan Coppess, J.D., is an associate professor of agricultural policy in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His work focuses on U.S. farm policy, including the farm bill, conservation programs and agricultural risk management, drawing on his prior experience in federal agricultural policy and law.
