Summary:

As we move toward fall, we would like to try to address some of the questions we get about managing cover crops in Iowa.  Since they are not a one-size-fits all endeavor, these questions don’t always have obvious answers, but talking different situations through can help make your options clearer. We’d like to invite you to a virtual discussion with cover crop expert TJ Kartes of Saddle Butte Seeds Thursday 9/16 at 9:30 am.  TJ has a lot of experience growing and experimenting with various cover crops in the Midwest and is a great technical resource.  He’ll be talking us through some of his tips and tricks and then we’ll have some Q&A.  Bring your hard questions!
