Chad Vogel, PhD

Research Development Manager

Chad is the central point of contact and the authorized representative for grants, contracts, and other agreements with external partners of ISA’s Research Center for Farming Innovation. He is responsible for proposal development, reviewing and endorsing contracts, negotiating agreements, accepting awards, interpreting rules and guidelines, and providing post-award research administration services. As a member of the RCFI leadership team, he is responsible for the long-term strategy for the maximization of soybean check-off dollars through growth in external funding arrangements. From Cherokee, Iowa, Chad earned his Ph.D. in political science – public administration from the University of South Dakota.
