Emerging markets for U.S. soy in Southeast Asia

March 27, 2024

Global demand for protein has increased more than 250% since 1990 thanks in-part to farmer-led efforts and their checkoff investment. On this week’s episode of Seeds of Success, ISA President Suzanne Shirbroun discusses how market development work in Southeast Asia has increased soy demand. With a growing demand for soybean meal to feed livestock and fish, Southeast Asia will continue to be a large market for U.S. soy well into the future.

Seeds of Success is produced by Brownfield as part of a content partnership with the Iowa Soybean Association.
