Aaron manages the development, integration and implementation of a broad range of communications and public relations activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the Iowa Soybean Association. He serves as an ambassador for the organization and members and facilitates partnerships with local, state and national stakeholders to the benefit of soybean growers and their customers. He manages new and emerging issues affecting Iowa’s farmers and rural communities as coordinator of the Iowa Food & Family Project. Aaron was raised on a grain and livestock farm near West Bend and holds degrees in communications, public relations and journalism from the University of Northern Iowa. He’s an accredited public relations practitioner and member of the Animal Ag Alliance board of directors and Iowa FFA Alumni Association. He was named a 2009 Honorary Iowa Master Pork Producer and is an active Rotarian and Kiwanian. Aaron, his wife Crystal and children Garrett, Grant and Jaelyn (JAY-linn) live in West Des Moines.
