ISA responds to USDA crop production report
On Nov. 10, the USDA estimated soybean production to be a record 3.32 billion bushels, up 2 percent from October’s forecast and up 12 percent from last year. ISA President Delbert Christensen says it may be awhile before we really know the size of this crop.

ISA policy process begins at the grass roots
In late November and early December, each ISA district will hold a policy conference, where participants will reach consensus on their top three priorities for ISA action and elect two delegates to attend ISA's state policy conference. This is an important part of a process that began with surveys sent to members.

Each ISA district will hold a district policy conference to touch base with members about their legislative action priorities. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss and prioritize issues and elect delegates to take their views to the ISA state policy conference in Ankeny on Dec. 10.
