ISA Responds to USDA Report of Planting Intentions
The USDA released its report of spring planting intentions. Nationally, soybean acres are projected down 1 percent from last year. Iowa growers’ intentions for planting soybeans are projected at 9.4 million acres, down 4 percent from 2010. As they return from today, several ISA leaders responded from Taiwan.

Soy Intake Improves the Prognosis of U.S. Breast Cancer Patients
Most evidence suggests that eating soy protects against breast cancer if it is consumed early in life—that is, during childhood and/or adolescence. The most recent study to examine this issue shows that soyfoods may actually be beneficial for women with breast cancer.

Program Offers Students Opportunity to Travel, Learn in China
