ISA Teams with FFA for Membership/Scholarship Program

FFA members across the state will have the opportunity to team up with the Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) to earn dollars for their chapter treasuries as well as scholarships for their graduating seniors. A special membership sales program began March 1, and FFA members can earn $10 per ISA membership sold for their chapter and $7.50 for placed in a special FFA scholarship program administered by the FFA Foundation.

“We’re offering one $500 scholarship as a beginning point,” explains Dan Dreher, former FFA state officer and current ISA producer services coordinator. “We’ll create as many more $500 scholarships as we can with the efforts of our Iowa FFA chapters by contributing 10 percent of all their membership sales to the scholarship fund.

“We believe the Iowa Soybean Association offers many programs that excite our future farmers,” adds Dreher. “We think this is a great partnership that will benefit both FFA and ISA now and into the future.”
