After 12 days the Iowa Legislature is already 15 percent done with its shortened session, and Iowa lawmakers are moving quickly and aggressively to advance legislation and adjourn within 80 days during a tough budget year

ISA hosts legislative reception
ISA held a legislative reception at its building on Jan. 19. Approximately 35 legislative representatives braved the weather to join ISA directors and staff for an evening of sampling soyfoods and one-on-one conversation. The event gave farmers a chance to discuss their policy priorities with legislative representatives, and it also was an opportunity to tour the new ISA office.

Andrew travels to Belgium to address EU acceptance of biotechnology
